VALIMAT Software Introduction

VALIMAT is a software solution designed to efficiently support the process from executing material sample testing to generating validated finite element simulation material cards. The primary focus of this software solution is to provide a highly automated workflow. Compared to traditional methods, this significantly saves time in processing material data and generating material cards, as well as achieving higher prediction accuracy.

VALIMAT provides a testing and simulation database system that links and manages all available data, including import, export, filtering, evaluation, statistics, and more. Additionally, automated finite element model construction for different loading conditions and automated workflows for industry-standard material models are easily accessible. Since VALIMAT directly interacts with the most common finite element solvers (LS-DYNA, Pam-Crash, Abaqus), it provides a unique software environment for automatic material card generation.

 

 

The VALIMAT graphical user interface is divided into five sections

  1. database
  2. Measurement results
  3. Optimization settings for model parameters (formulas)
  4. Optimized results
  5. Menu bar (the menu bar covers the main processes from experimentation to material modeling)

 

 

VALIMAT material model

  • A large number of material models can be directly applied to the LS-DYNA solver (including Abaqus and Pam-Crash)
  • All material constitutive models in LS-Dyna can be supported through user-defined material cards

VALIMAT subscription (Tokens/year) – annual lease

The modules of the VALIMAT software suite are provided in the form of passwords based on the concept of floating Tokens. Each module requires a specific number of Tokens when launched and releases the same number of Tokens when closed. This table lists all individual modules and provides some typical usage scenarios.

 

 

*The license for the finite element solver is not included and must be purchased separately from the corresponding distributor.

Therefore, using 35 Tokens, a user can create anisotropic material cards for a single solver at a time by combining the Micromec and Autofit modules.
